Army organises medical, vet camp in Karnah
Karnah: The Army on Sunday organised a medical and veterinary camp at Karnah Panjtarain village in Kupwara District.
Organised by the 17 Bihar Battalion under 104 Brigade, the camp provided free checkups and medicines to the residents and their cattle in the far-flung area that lies close to the Line of Control (LoC).
A total of 423 villagers, including 153 females, 222 males and 48 children benefited from the camps. A total of 48 cattle owners also got benefitted.
“This is a remote area and due to the change in weather, flu is on the rise, so we are grateful for this medical camp. Army has always been there for us time and again,” Lamberdar of the village said.
