Sopore shuts on second consecutive  day to mourn killing of local militant

Sopore A spontaneous shutdown is being observed on second consecutive day in Sopore town of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district to mourn the killing of local Tehreek ul Mujahideen militant killed in a brief shootout at Handwara on Thursday night.
All the shops and other business establishments are closed in the town,while  thin movement of private transport is witnessing on the roads in the town.
Slain Naseer Ahmed Teli Son of Ghulam Mahidin Teli resident of Gulababad Arampora Sopore a month long militant was killed in a brief shootout at Handwara on Thursday night.
Witness said people including men and women are visiting the house of the slain militant to pay condolence and solidarity prayers.
Meanwhile authorities on late last night in a statement said that all educational institutions across Sopore town to remain closed on Saturday as a precautionary measure, accept those schools where board examinations are scheduled today.
However authorities restored internet services in parts of Sopore last evening which was suspended soon after the killing of local militant.
