Srinagar, Oct 06: Daily-wagers working with the Public Health Engineering (PHE) department on Thursday locked its office in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district to press for their demand of release of pending wages.
Dozens of PHE daily-wagers assembled outside the PHE office in Kupwara and staged a protest to demand release of wages from past several months.
The protesters who were raising anti-government slogans later locked the office in protest.
