Baramulla: Class IV aspirants of district Baramulla who have been waiting for selection list from last 12 years staged strong protest demonstration on Thursday demanding  immediate release of the list caught in red-tape.

Scores of the unemployed youth Baramulla who had applied for the class 4th posts in district Baramulla in 2006 assembled in Kirapa Park to stage protest against civil administration for ‘deliberate delay’ in release of the list.

Chanting anti-administration slogans, the aspirants, who have been running from pillar to post to get the list released , allege that civil administration in the month of June announced publicly that list will be made public in the first week of August, but two months passed the list is yet to get publish.

They further allege that even DC Baramulla Nasir Ahmed Naqash several times told the aspirants that list will be released soon and Governor’s grievance cell was twice intimated that list will be made public within week’s time but nothing has been done on ground.

“Both Government and administration have been playing with our careers and sentiments. We are pushed to wall,” said an aspirant Irsahid Hussain.  Protesting aspirants later marched towards DC Office Baramulla to press their demand.
