CRPF man injured in militant attack in Pulwama
Srinagar, Sep 18: A paramilitary CRPF man was injured in a militant attack Tuesday in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, a police official said.
Militants hurled a grenade and opened fire on personnel at the Central Reserve Police Force camp at Newa in Pulwama. The grenade didn’t explode, but a CRPF man was injured in the shootout. He was shifted to a hospital for treatment, said a report.
The injured CRPF soldier was identified as Moyeen Khan.
The area has been cordoned off as other security agencies, including the Army, have joined the operation to track down the militants, officials said.
