Play on life of Kashmiri pandits performed in Jammu

Jammu, Aug 29:  A play that showcased the agony of displaced Kashmiri pandits moved the audience at jampacked Abhinav theatre here.

Poshgoandh (flower bouquet) was presented by director Mahraj K last night in the city.

It portrayed the ground realities of disintegration of families due to migration, that left audience teary-eyed.

“The play represents our lives, a journey from Kashmir to Jammu and agony, that we are going through now as old age people get no care,” Santosh Kumari, one in the audience, said.

Amid cheers and applause, the audience was spellbound by the performances of the actors.

All the actors performed brilliantly and left a mark on the audience. The actors include Makhan Lal Saraf, Captain Mahraj, Bansi Mattoo, Kusum Tikoo, Rani Bhan, Kanwal Peshin, Rohita Razdan, Meenal Peer, Ajay waguzari. The programme was anchored by Bindia Raina Tikoo.
