DDC Budgam inspects developmental projects in Chrar-e-Sharief
'Ensure area is polythene free, conduct anti encroachments drive'
BUDGAM, JULY 24: DDC Budgam Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar, today inspected the various ongoing developmental projects in Chrar-e-Sharief area of Budgam and directed officials to expedite the pace of work to ensure their time-bound completion.
During the visit, the DDC directed the Tehsildar and Municipal Authorities to ensure that no illegal construction takes place in the area, especially around the shrine. Further, they were directed to conduct anti-encroachment drives and get state land cleared, if found encroached.
During the visit, the DDC directed the concerned to ensure that the area is polythene free and the concerned authorities were directed to launch rigorous anti-polythene drives.
The DDC also visited the shrine of Alamdar-e-Kashmir and took stock of various works being executed there.
The DDC laid emphasis on cleanliness and sanitation. She directed the concerned Municipal Authorities to identify a suitable location for the dumping of waste within a week. Further instructions were passed on to concerned to ensure decongestion of the main town.
Meanwhile, various public delegations also called on the DDC who gave them a patient hearing and assured them that all their genuine grievances would be addressed on priority.
