Woman dies, nine injured in road accident
Srinagar, Jul 23: A woman died and nine others were injured after a tractor they were travelling on fell into a stream in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district late Sunday evening.
A police official said the accident took place around 9 pm on Sunday when the driver lost control over the tractor while negotiating a curve and fell into a stream in Malangpora village of the district.
The deceased woman has been identified as Jawahara Akhtar, wife of Mushtaq Ahmad Dar.
The injured were shifted to PHC Awantipora for treatment, said the official.
