Kavinder Gupta holds Meeting with BJP District Unit Srinagar

Srinagar, July 10:  Former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta held a meeting with BJP District unit, Srinagar, and reiterated that the party shall work as per the expectations of the people and hoped that the workers would act to bridge the gap between the party and the people for an effective feedback programmes, a press release issued here said.

Gupta asked the party workers to be the representatives of the party and establish connect with the masses so as to know their issues and also bring new cadre into party fold. He also directed the party workers to listen to the grievances of the people and forward the same to the party high command stating that the BJP high command was committed to address the grievances and genuine issues through proper channels.

The press release further added that BJP had introduced dozens of centrally sponsored schemes for the welfare of general public and awareness regarding the same was a must in order to ensure that maximum people are benefitted from the schemes.

He also expressed his hope that such meeting go a long way in strengthening the roots of the party in this part of the state which has traditionally been the bastion of certain regional parties. He also informed the gathering that the central government was working to mitigate the suffering of common man. “Strengthen the party at gross root level and meeting new faces who are willing to join the party will go a long way in making Kashmir a prosperous and peaceful place,” he added.

The meeting was attended by District President Srinagar, Arif Raja, Dist. General Secretary Srinagar,  Zubair Nazir, Vice Presidents Srinagar, Asif Masodi, Ashok Bhat , Hakim Masood, Incharge Mahilla Morcha Kashmir Neelam Gash , constituency presidents Srinagar , Constituency General Secretaries Srinagar, Protocol Incharge Kashmir, Nazir Ahmad Gilkar, Media Incharge Kashmir, Manzoor  Bhat and others.
