JRL calls for strike tomorrow against civilian killings
Srinagar: Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik on Tuesday called for complete shutdown on Wednesday against the civilian killing in South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq said JRL appeals people to observe strike tomorrow “to register our protest and condemnation.”
“Kashmir turned into a graveyard of its own people by Indian forces as 3more civilians die today and more than 50injured!young Tamseel directly shot at,while 11th class student Ubaid succumbed to his bullets wounds,elderly Ishaq Naikoo died of cardiac arrest as news of his son being under siege reached him!,” Mirwaiz wrote on Twitter.
