3 pilgrims, policeman injured in accidents
Srinagar, Jun 30: Four persons, including three Amarnath pilgrims were injured in two separate road accidents in Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Saturday.
An official said that a truck (HP55A-1705) traveling from Ladakh to Kashmir collided with a car (PB03Y-6776) coming from opposite direction at Sumbal-Bala, resulting in injuries to three Amarnath pilgrims.
The injured were rushed to Sub-district Hospital Kangan.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident, a pickup truck collided with a police vehicle, resulting in injuries to a policeman.
The injured cop was discharged after being given first-aid at the hospital.
Police have taken cognizance of both the cases, said the official.
