Tourist dies of cardiac arrest at Gulmarg
Gulmarg: A 77-year-old tourist died of cardiac arrest at the famous tourist resort Gulmarg in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday, police said.
According to reports Lakshman Holi (77) son of Sharmadar Holi R/o dulhia Maharashtra reach Gulmarg today morning from Srinagar to enjoy trekking and Gondola ride, however he felt unconscious after came out from room where he stayed for while, and were shifted to hospital but doctors declared him dead on arrival.
The body of the deceased has been handed over to family members who came to Gulmarg with him for last rites, police official told Kashmir Images, adding inquest proceedings have been initiated to ascertain cause of death.
