Srinagar, June 2: Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) on Saturday claimed responsibility of two grenade attacks on forces at Fateh Kadal and Badshah Chowk Srinagar.

JeM spokesperson in a statement issued to GNS said that as part of “Operation Badr”, Jaish carried out the first attack at Fateh Kadal in which several Indian forces were injured. “Jaish-e-Mohammad cadres also carried out the attack on CRPF at Badshah Chowk in which several CRPF troopers were injured.”

He also said that government forces a couple of days ago made a “vain and shameful attempt” of setting ablaze the house of “one of our mujahid Adil Ahmad Dar alias Waqas of Kakapora Gundibagh, Pulwama, during the dead of the night.”

He strongly condemned the act of forces saying that the “coward” forces now resort to such acts.

Jaish warned forces that “if any attempt of setting ablaze any of the house particularly of mujahideen is made, remember that every army camp in Jammu and Kashmir is on our target, and we will burn them”.

The outfit assured the families of militants that they are not alone as “Jaish-e-Mohammad is with them”.
