Govt constitutes committee to examine demands of DAK, DCC
Srinagar, Jun 01: Government today accorded sanction to the constitution of a committee under the chairmanship of Principal Secretary Health and Medical Education department to examine the demands put forth by the Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) and J&K Doctors Coordination Committee(DCC).
The Committee shall comprise Director General Health Services Kashmir, Director Health Services Jammu, Director Finance, Health & Medical Education department, Additional Secretary to the Government (C), Health & Medical Education department, Additional Secretary to the Government (N), Health & Medical Education department, representative of DAK Kashmir to be nominated by the Director-General, Health Services Kashmir, representative of DCC to be nominated by the Director, Health Services Jammu.
The Committee shall examine demands of DAK and DCC like ordinance for violence against doctors/para-medics, caderisation of consultants, medical officers/dental surgeons, rectification of pay anomaly, two-and-half-day salary, risk allowance, rural allowance, restoration of seniority, rationalization of postings and revision of time-bound promotions, an official press release informed.
It said the Committee shall furnish its recommendations to the government within a period of one month.
