WORLD HEALTH DAY CELEBRATIONS AT ZIRAN
Srinagar: World Health Organisation (WHO) celebrates World Health Day every year on 07 April to create awareness on various health issues and concerns. WHO targets all the health issues on global basis for which several programs are organised to draw worldwide attention to the subject of importance.
To take this objective forward, a seminar was conducted by the Army for the students and staff of Army Goodwill School, Ziran. The WHO theme of 2018 “Universal Health Coverage” was explained in detail by the Army Doctor who stressed on the main objective of financial protection and provision of the full spectrum of health services to all the individuals and communities.
A defense spokesman, in a statement issued here today said that the message was well received by all the participants and all pledged to improve their health. The joint celebration of World Health Day was appreciated by the teachers and students alike and further helped in spreading the message of staying healthy amongst the entire society.
