Pradhan takes over as ADG(R) at PIB Srinagar
Srinagar, Apr 03: S.N. Pradhan assumed charge as Additional Director General (Region) at Press Information Bureau (PIB) Srinagar on April 02, 2018.
Besides PIB Srinagar and PIB Jammu, he will also be heading the Regional Outreach Bureau, Jammu which came into existence after merging of the offices of the Directorate of Field Publicity, Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity and Song and Drama Division of the region. The decision to merge various units was recently taken by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
Pradhan, an IIS Officer of the 1990 batch, was ADG, PIB Bhopal prior to his posting at Srinagar. Besides PIB, he has served in various media units including Doordarshan, All India Radio and Publications Division.
