Congress defers party meetings in Pulwama, Shopian
Mourns loss of civilian lives in Pulwama
Srinagar Dec 16. The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) in view of civilian casualties in Pulwama District has deferred the Party meetings that were scheduled to be held in Pulwama, Shopian, Kulgam and Anantnag Districts from December 17th, a party spokesman said in a statement issued today.
The party while strongly condemning the killings in strongest words, has sought an immediate end to civilian killings, said the spokesman.
The meetings were scheduled to be addressed by JKPCC President G.A. Mir, Former President Peerzada Mod Sayeed, AICC Secretaries Dr Shakeel Ahmad Khan (MLA) Sudhir Sharma (Former Minister) besides other senior leaders of the Party, said the spokesman.
