Not so good experience for RKFC team members in Kerala
Ground official heard RFKC players saying “Leave nonsense people. This is not Kashmir”
Srinagar Dec 14: Real Kashmir FC literally went through a nightmare on Friday when they were allegedly mistreated by ground staff of Gokulam Kerala FC.
Real Kashmir FC twitter handle early today posted series of tweets which read “RKFC officials and head coach were abused by Gokhulam Kerala FC officials.” “No bus for training no training ground.”

Another tweet, posted with a video, wherein Gohulam Kerla Fc ground official was seen misbehaving with team and saying them “Leave nonsense people. This is not Kashmir.”

The video went viral on social media triggering response from former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah who took to twitter and posted his reaction that read, “Have been told RKFC are facing a numerous difficulties in South. Request local authorities to intervene and ensure safety of players and staff.”

Football fans across India condemned the episode and asked AIFF to intervene.
Later Gokhulam FC responded to the incident and released a statement which denied any mistreatment and made counter allegation. Their statement read, “Gokulam Kerala FC CEO was manhandled by bunch of RKFC officials. Due to strike we had difficulty in arranging transport. The team went to wrong practice venue and showed unprofessional behavior.”
After the fiasco, RKFC team management has asked for security ahead of I-League match between GKFC and RKFC on Saturday.
RKFC supporters in Kashmir are also expressing concern for safety of staff and players.
