Yasin Malik visits Muj-Gund and SMHS hospital

“Rulers have given free hand to forces to kill, maim”

Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik today visited Muj-gund  where several residential houses were damaged during a recent encounter in which three militants got killed and also met the parents of Hibba Jaan at SMHS hospital.

A JKLF spokesman in a statement said that Malik visited Muj-gund where he met with the families whose houses were damaged in a 18-hour-long encounter, and expressed solidarity with them.

JKLF chairman later went to SMHS hospital where 18 month old baby Hibba Jaan who became the youngest victim of pellets is under treatment and has been operated upon recently.

JKLF chairman saw her and her worried parents and expressed solidarity with them, the spokesman said.

While talking to the victims at Muj-Gund, JKLF chairman said that Kashmir is burning and Kashmiris are being brutalized with impunity, the spokesman said.

JKLF chairman said that the carnage at Muj-gund in which more than half a dozen residential houses have been raised to ground by Indian forces and dozens of families have been left roof-less in these coldest days and nights, JKLF chairman said that Mayhem at Muj-gund is actually a minuscule example of Indian aggression in Kashmir which is killing, maiming, destroying and oppressing Kashmiris at will. JKLF chairman said that all this aggression is continuing in the name of operation all out and only aim of this state sponsored terrorism is to punish Kashmiris for their exemplary resistance and resilience.

““Rulers have given free hand to forces to kill and maim,” the spokesman quoted Malik as saying.

Meanwhile, JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik has expressed his deep grief and sorrow over the demise of mother of editor in chief Kashmir reader Haji Hayat Muhammad Butt who breathed her last today. JKLF chairman also visited the bereaved family of Incarcerated resistance leader Farooq Ahmad Dar alias Bitta-karatay and expressed condolences to them at the demise of his mother.
