4th session of JK’s first international skill, upskilling programme for startups held

JAMMU, DECEMBER 06: The fourth lecture session of State’s maiden international skill and upskilling programme for startups was held here today during which reputed experts delivered lectures on various facets of skill and entrepreneurship development.

During the session, Jason Furness, one of the directors of BRIDGE Institute Singapore, delivered a lecture on ‘Sales and Growth’. The session included lectures and presentations on creating growth, exploring a number of key areas, including understanding customer needs, building long-lasting solutions, building trust-based relationships and managing key relationships strategically.

The programme is being organized by J&K Skill Development Mission (JKSDM) in partnership with BRIDGE Institute.

It is the first of its kind programme in J&K wherein budding start-ups are directly interacting with global industry experts and gaining information on different vision and strategies which can be put into use by these start-ups for scaling up their venture.

The fully-sponsored programme is being taught by 10 internationally acclaimed industry experts from various countries and focuses on the themes such as finance & accounting, sales & growth, branding & marketing, human resource management, team building, service excellence and future technologies.

To promote skill and entrepreneurship development in the state, JKSDM has been organizing various youth development programmes in collaboration with national and multinational organizations.
