Two Army men injured in Uri so far 

Baramulla: Two Army soldiers were injured on Wednesday in a alleged ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Kamalkote Uri sector of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Sources said that Pakistani troops attacked army posts at Kamalkote Mariya area of frontier sector Uri.

During the exchange of fire, two soldiers sustained injuries in the firing . The injured were rushed to hospital for treatment.

Army sources identified the injured soldiers as Sepoy Dupo Veshunath and Naik M Walim of 8 Rashtriya Rifles.
The soldiers manning the fence retaliated which resulted into a brief cross border shelling. The shelling again broke out in the evening which continues till this report was being filed .
