Hurriyat G alleges harassment of Pakistani prisoners

Srinagar, October 07, 2018: All Parties Hurriyat Conference today alleged that Pakistani prisoners lodged in central jail Tihar were taken out of their barks in the midnight and physically manhandled and ruthlessly beaten.

In a statement issued here today, a spokesman of Hurriyat G said that this is a gross violation of national and international laws which compel every country to abide by these rules and regulations to ensure the safety of every individual under custody.

“Although India too is signatory to these laws, but it never abides by these laws,” the spokesman said.

The spokesman also condemned the raid on the house of incarcerated elder son of Syed Salah-ud-din a few days back and termed it as vandalism and hooliganism by men in authority.
