Srinagar: Chairman JKLF Muhammad Yasin Malik has strongly condemned the assault on a Kashmiri student at Noida near Delhi in which the said student has sustained grave injuries. Kashmiri student Ahtisham was allegedly assaulted by some goons near Sharda University where he is perusing education. “He was beaten ruthlessly while police was watching silently and in a way abetting the goons. Even the role of university authorities has been shameful and disgusting,” Malik, who is under arrest, said in a statement issued today.

He said that Kashmiris are being pushed to the wall by Indian state and fanatic goons are attacking Kashmiris. “This situation is very serious and Kashmiris will no longer sit silent on these attacks on their kith and kin,” he said.

Meanwhile JKLF chairman has paid rich tributes to Manzoor Ahmad Butt on his death anniversary. Manzoor Ahmad Butt was the younger brother of Muhammad Maqbool Butt.
