Cloudburst triggers flash-flood
Karnah: A cloudburst triggered flash-floods in Karnah area of frontier district of Kupwara in north Kashmir Tuesday afternoon.
Reports said the cloudburst in Qazi Behak area caused flash-flood in Tangdhar Nallah, triggering panic among the locals.
Police said there was no immediate report of any loss to the life or property. However, reports coming in from the area said flash floods damaged some residential houses and shops and vehicles in the main market.
They said that standing crops have also been damaged while some livestock has also perished in the flooding.
