Srinagar, Aug 04: Court of Special Magistrate Srinagar on Saturday rejected the bail plea of Srinagar man accused of forging seals of 3rd Additional Munsif Srinagar and Mobile Magistrate Srinagar.

The accused has committed the offences of cheating and forgery by executing forged documents under the seal and signature of 3rd Additional Munsif Srinagar for which a case, under FIR 280 under sections 420 and 467, was lodged against the accused by police station Rainawari.

Prosecuting officer for state and defense counsel Syed Nadeem Hussein vehemently argued that the act of the accused was of ‘interference’ in the judicial process and thereby undermining the judicial authority deserving outright rejection.

“The judicial system of the state is at risk being misused by the elements that have crossed every limit of cheating, corruption and forgery Therefore considering the nature of the offence, its magnitude and ramifications as alleged material available on record, court has rejected the bail application of the accused namely Nazeer Ahmad Darzi of  Kani Kadal Srinagar and granting bail to the accused under such circumstances would threat the course of justice,” the court maintained in its judgement.
