CRPF man, SPO injured in Anantnag grenade attack
Anantnag: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) man and a Special Police Officer (SPO) of Jammu and Kashmir police were injured in a militant attack in Anantnag town.
Reports said that the militants hurled a grenade and opened fire at a CRPF post located outside a bank in Anantnag town.
The CRPF men retaliated, leading to a brief exchange of fire, reports said.
A CRPF man and a policeman were injured in the attack, said the reports.
Meanwhile, LeT spokesman, in a statement issued today, owned the attack.
