Ex-Congress minister’s house pelted with stones
Anantnag, Jul 08: Policemen guarding the residence of Congress leader Peerzada Muhammad Sayeed fired few warning shots after it was pelted with stones in Kokernag area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday.
Reports said that scores of youth assembled in Damhal Khashipora village and pelted stones at Sayeed’s residence.
They said that cops guarding the residence fired few shots to chase away the protesters.
In a similar incident, stones were also pelted at the house of former National Conference leader Abdul Rasheed in Bulbul Bagh Nowgam village of the district.
