Army resorts to aerial firing in Shopian village
Shopian, Jun 12: Army resorted to aerial firing in DK Pora village of Shopian district of south Kashmir on Tuesday afternoon after youth hurled stones on them.
A police official said that around 12:30 pm army personnel were flying a drone in the area when youth pelt them with stones and bricks.
“The army men resorted to aerial firing to disperse the stone-throwing youth,” he added.
However, local reports said that the army men were trying to remove anti-India graffiti in the village when they came under heavy stone pelting.
