Human beings transcended the natural obstacles through application of knowledge to enhance their status. This orientation involved a steep contest between Human capabilities and Natural impediment. The enhancement of technological solutions relieved the deterministic spirit to shambles. It put the humanity on scientific spirit and rational enquiry.  Initially, man evolved the comforts necessary for its survival. Thereafter, the ideological orientation transcended to complexion and comfort. Scientific revolution caused dramatic change in work and lifestyle. The innovative solutions for communication proved transformative. It overhauled the decade old communicative approaches and methods. Telephone and Television means of communication opened new styles of dealing with others . The ideas , issues ,comforts ,life style etc in one part of Globe transcended barriers to reach erstwhile unreachable areas. This insemination was amplified by Mobile Phone technology. Mobile Phones are handheld devices working as mini computers. They provide a number of services over and above the quick communication. The nip and tuck  Human Eye Xerox camera inserted in cell phones has  a lot of appeal among youth fraternity.

The emergence of Mobile Revolution with social media in place has intensified demand for Selfies in present context. Everyone especially young faculty of present generation is habitual of this practice. Selfie is a picture taken by oneself with a front camera. It provides added advantage to back camera’s. One needs a simple unlock and a click of button for a pose. The efficiency of the camera through new versions has intensified demand for new products. Gone are the days when network signal and portability was main feature to be looked for at consumers level. This feature has been accorded second grade status with Camera Mega pixels a main concern. Initially the Selfie habit was confined to oneself in personal gallery. But arrival of Social Media platform has played at hands of cell phones with efficient front cameras. They have intensified competition to such an extent that Camera rather than basic functionality of cell phones is assigned place of prominence. Almost all the younger generation is involved in this habitual activity.  In fact the Selfie norm has achieved success because of its simplicity to use. The adoption of Selfie norm by young fraternity is a moral as well as physical hazard for incoming generations. Is this manifestation of Frankenstein Syndrome? Has it proved right?

Our bedrock of society is deeply engaged in this activity. They trace every moment by the new editing features. Tourist spots have evolved as most favorable choice. Recent inauguration of Asia’s largest Botanical garden (Tulip Garden) and the subsequent media following seems incomplete without people with handsets taking Selfies. They try to catch the background of enchanting beauty. This Psych has changed the outward mentality of people. The advantages of Selfie technique is awesome but disadvantages far outweighs the former. The technique is simple and easy to use. What it demands a simple click in blink of an eye. It enhances the dignity and privacy of people. There’s not a need of helping hand to take different poses. It amplifies the relationship bonds through quick connection and uploading on social media. Whenever the unbiased interpretation of assessed things is taken , somewhat different from face comes to fore. As for as one reads the writing on wall the Selfie Syndrome is growing day by day. But no consciousness can explain the horrific death of tourist taking Selfies in Mahableshwar. The serious episode on world famous Chinese Glass bridge counters the said narrative. Is it good or an adverse habit needs clear solution of fault lines. The train accident of Young Student in our backdrop near Nowgam station of Srinagar is clarion call. Narcissistic tendency put by Social media platforms in Selfie Addiction has evolved what can be called as Selfie Paradox. It amply supports other miracles brought about by scientific innovation for its adverse effects.

Whenever Mobile Revolution and Selfie Addiction comes to table of serious assessment, Moral Hazard follows suite. Hence the universal dictum of “Excess of everything is bad” adds one more feather to cap. Untill now the confinement of Selfie Addiction was revolving round us in personal spheres. But the recent repercussions with death of a person at times brings the adaptability to halt. Morally it seems the intensification of disastrous etiquettes in our mentality is manifested in serious crime involvement of majority. Brutal and inhuman crimes through Selfie dilemma is on its way. Clearly all isn’t fair about usage of Selfie technique. The mental and social attitude of society needs a pause and rethinking to eke out compassionate and fellow society. Society run by individuals with care for the security of their Psych and the care for dignity of others. Most endangered aspect or cause of concern is youth involvement. Our foundation is engaged in the practice leading to material as well as moral degradation. Before one acts one should realize where does one stands. In our case the base of society is being eroded of its morals and ethical attributes. They devote most of the time in Selfie process and subsequent editing then to their goals and self assessment. Recent survey held in US came bolt from blue as it held the social media and Selfie Syndrome main reason for erosion of morals. To its Best possible the best feasible shall be kept in consideration. The basis of society on such a foundation rises above all odds.
